Location: former metal components factory – Basque Country
Client’s objective: Removal of free phase (LNAPL), consisting of hydrocarbons, including viscous hydrocarbons, in a deep hydrogeological context.
Our Role: Technical advice for the selection of the most suitable technology, supply and installation of a pneumatic pumping system.
Result:
- Overcoming critical issues related to depth (>20 m) and well geometry, ensuring a robust, low-maintenance system.

Reduced Maintenance
The use of Geopump air pumps has eliminated the blockages and obstructions typical of skimmers.
The GEOSTREAM Solution
Recover oils in 2″ wells stably, even under difficult conditions.
We replaced skimmers with small-diameter pneumatic pumps to avoid blockages and installation problems. Water/oil separation is done in a dedicated gravimetric system: oil is stored, water is safely managed.
